The hotel group, Grupo Posadas, has published a list of the 17 new properties opening in the Mexican Caribbean in the next two years, with a total of 3,430 new rooms. The first of these hotels will open in the third trimester of 2023, with most of them expected to still be in operation by 2025, according to the terms agreed upon by the various proprietors.

The list reveals that Live Aqua will be the brand with the most growth in the area, alongside Fiesta Americana, One, and Gamma. These operating contracts have a timespan of 15 years on average, and the total investment for these new projects is in the vicinity of USD$832m.

Grupo Posadas’ portfolio already includes 192 hotels and 29,288 rooms in some of Mexico’s most important beach and city destinations. Among the many brands that work with the group are Live Aqua, Curamoria Collection, Grand Fiesta Americana, The Explorean, IOH, Fiesta Inn, Gamma, and One Hotels.
