European Meeting Planners delighted with Puerto Vallarta

Once again, Puerto Vallarta proved to be a great host by receiving 8 meeting planners from Holland and Belgium. On this Fam Trip, the guests first visited Mexico City and then moved on to Puerto Vallarta in order to learn about the attractions this beautiful destination has to offer for their potential clients.

The visitors' agenda was organized and sponsored collaboratively by Travelmediate Benelux / Market for Mice & Leisure Industry, Aeroméxico, Destination Mexico DMC, Marriott Hotels and the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust.

Upon arrival, they enjoyed the extraordinary hospitality of Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa. Likewise, they visited the Sheraton Buganvilias Resort & Convention Center and Westin Resort & Spa hotels to learn about their infrastructure, amenities, and specialized services.

They also had the opportunity to enjoy a day at the beach in Majahuitas, taste the exquisite cuisine of Café Des Artistes, cross the longest suspension vehicle bridge in the world in an all-terrain vehicle at Canopy River, and take a tour of the historic center of the city. with its emblematic boardwalk.

Laura Suárez, director of groups and conventions for the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust, said: “Although it was a brief visit, a very full schedule of activities was followed so that they could experience the destination as much as possible, with activities in the mountains and the beach, and cultural options that highlighted what sets Puerto Vallarta apart from other destinations in Mexico. The comments were excellent, they were fascinated with the gastronomy and the different lodging options and experiences that Puerto Vallarta can offer for its visitors.”

Once again, the synergy between the different parts of the tourism industry of this destination generated an unforgettable experience for visitors, which will contribute to the positioning of Puerto Vallarta as one of the best destinations for the meeting tourism industry worldwide.
