Tulum is strengthening its international air connectivity ahead of the 2026–27 winter season, with the return of seasonal flights linking the destination with five cities in Canada and the United States. Beginning in the final quarter of 2026, travelers will have new and renewed options to reach Tulum directly from Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, Quebec City, and Newark, further expanding access to one of the Mexican Caribbean’s most sought-after destinations.
The new services will be operated by Air Canada, Air Transat, WestJet, and United Airlines, with seven services offering up to 10 weekly frequencies across the five routes. Flights will operate on different seasonal schedules, with some beginning in October and others extending through the winter and into spring 2027.
Beyond making Tulum more accessible, the expanded connectivity strengthens the destination’s appeal for travelers looking to combine its beaches and natural surroundings with its rich cultural and archaeological heritage. The new routes also support the broader efforts underway to improve mobility, services, and the overall visitor experience in Tulum.
For Destination Mexico, stronger air connectivity means even more opportunities to create seamless programs for international groups visiting the Riviera Maya. With Tulum’s distinctive mix of culture, nature, wellness, gastronomy, and luxury hospitality, the destination offers an increasingly diverse setting for memorable incentive experiences.
