New Hospitality offerings in Punta Mita

Montage International and DINE have reached an agreement for the development of a Montage and a Pendry resort within the 1500 acre private peninsula community of Punta Mita in Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit. Set to open in 2026, the new resorts will include Montage Punta Mita with branded Montage Residences and Pendry Punta Mita with branded Pendry Residences. The resorts will feature luxurious amenities including spas, an array of food & beverage offerings, outdoor sporting experiences, and a variety of indoor and outdoor meeting and event spaces. Guests of both properties will also enjoy access to the amenities of the broader Punta Mita development, including two signature Jack Nicklaus golf courses, five residential beach clubs, ocean adventures through the Punta Mita Ocean Sports team and more.

“Having experienced incredible success with our first international property in Los Cabos, I am delighted to be returning to the dynamic coastline of Mexico to launch a new Montage resort and expand Pendry Hotels & Resorts’ footprint internationally,” said Alan J. Fuerstman, founder, chairman and CEO, Montage International. “We look forward to bringing our hospitality offerings to Punta Mita through our visionary partnership with DINE and joining this unparalleled resort community in such an extraordinary part of the world.”

Montage Punta Mita will feature 140 guest rooms, Spa Montage, a top-of-the-line fitness center, a collection of premium culinary experiences, resort pool, a sports center, flexible meeting and event spaces, a game room, and the brand’s signature Paintbox children’s program. Montage Punta Mita will also offer 91 private Montage Residences within the resort community. Overlooking one of the premier surf breaks in Riviera Nayarit, Pendry Punta Mita will feature 115 guest rooms, and all of the world-class amenities offered by the Montage. Additionally, the resort will offer 30 fully serviced private Pendry Residences in varied design plans. Owners of Montage and Pendry Residences will enjoy inclusive access to services and amenities at both resorts, as well as dedicated staff and exclusive residential amenities and tailored luxury offerings.

“Partnering with Montage International to bring both the Montage and Pendry brands to Punta Mita builds on the multi-decade legacy of excellence we’ve worked to create within our gates, and in the greater Riviera Nayarit region”, said Alejandro de la Barreda, Chief Executive Officer of DINE, one of Mexico’s premier real estate developers. “Montage International brings a certain prestige for creating luxurious amenity-driven experiences for its owners and guests, and we look forward to weaving that into life at Punta Mita for our existing community and future visitors.”
