LOS CABOS IS ONE OF THE “PLACES TO GO” IN 2025
March 6, 2025
Los Cabos has been recognized as one of The New York Times’ “52 Places to Go in 2025”, the only destination in Mexico to make this year’s list. This acknowledgment highlights its natural beauty, commitment to sustainability, and evolving tourism industry.

Each year, The New York Times selects destinations that offer unique and meaningful travel experiences. Los Cabos earned its spot for its stunning landscapes, rich marine biodiversity, and its blend of adventure and luxury tourism. Visitors can enjoy activities like whale watching, diving in the Sea of Cortez, and exploring a vibrant dining and hospitality scene. Los Cabos’ inclusion also reflects the region’s ongoing efforts in conservation and responsible tourism, including initiatives to protect marine ecosystems and balance development with sustainability.

This achievement is the result of strategic efforts and strong media relationships, particularly with The New York Times travel editor, Elaine Glusac,” said Rodrigo Esponda, Managing Director of the Los Cabos Tourism Board. “We’ve worked toward this recognition for the past year, and we’re thrilled to see Los Cabos featured.”

This recognition reinforces Los Cabos’ appeal as a destination worth exploring, offering everything from the iconic Arch of Cabo San Lucas to quiet beaches and unforgettable cultural experiences.
